Open Access and Artificial Intelligence

Open Access and Artificial Intelligence In-Person / Online

This presentation is for the entire university community, whether you're an undergraduate starting a capstone, a doctoral candidate writing your dissertation, or a researcher working on your next publication. We will highlight a few specialized AI assistants and tools designed to be more targeted than general consumer tools. We'll show you how to integrate these tools into your workflow to streamline your research, paying special attention to the discovery of open access (OA) scholarly publications. We will also discuss responsible use of these tools, how to understand what information is discoverable with them, and things to think about if you want to publish OA while keeping AI training in mind.
