Understanding Open Access Publishing to Increase Research Impact

Understanding Open Access Publishing to Increase Research Impact Online

The Robert W. Van Houten Library invites all NJIT instructors to a special webinar in celebration of International Open Access Week. This session will highlight the benefits of Open Access publishing for faculty aiming to maximize their research impact and reach a broader audience than traditional subscription journals. Learn about NJIT’s transformative agreements with publishers such as Elsevier, ACM, and Springer Nature. Additionally, discover how to increase the visibility of your work by depositing it in NJIT’s institutional repository, the Digital Commons. Join us for insightful discussions with Ann Hoang, NJIT University Librarian; Matthew Brown, Archivist and Digital Initiatives Librarian; and Annie Chatterjee, Open Access and Scholarly Communications Librarian, as they share expertise on Open Access publishing and enhancing research visibility.
